Seems like you are aware of some of the issues.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

How do you mean?

Because you mentioned them.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

You will have to give more specific answers to questions asked here if you want better help.

What is the exact age difference? You say it is "10+ years", which could be anything. Is it 10 years, 20 years, 30 years,... This matters.

What exactly was the "additional evidence" that was requested in the RFE? And what exactly did you send?

If you want useful responses, you will need to be more specific.

I forgot the money thing

it's not a good thing for USC to send money (especially to a man who should be able to support himself)

looks like intending immigrant using USC for money and that is a big issue for NIgeria (any African country actually)

and u married in 2019 so she should have added u to IRS tax returns for 2019 and 2020 to start the commingling of fiances

As said by another,   she should be here finding out this information

Unfortunately, in this case "a strong mind" would not help much. First, OP's wife should also have an account here and post the questions. Second, there are red flags. Whether you want to see them or not, or whether OP wants to see it, that's their call. Selling money makes it look like he cannot support himself. OP's wife should not have filed taxes as single when she's married. USCIS wants to see tangible evidence of a relationship.

And unfortunately, Nigeria is a high fraud country.

I looked at the timeline and i think it is not up to date

for Immigration to be interviewing the wife,  he must have already had his interview

Now to hit the reality as we went thru all this with a big age difference

the USC must learn what is needed to handle the issues (as u are probably going to get a denial and NOIR or NOID)

so,  very important she reads Nigeria post and embassy reviews and asks the questions

it took us 6 years to get visa approved from trying K1 in 2009 and then going thru the CR1 process

all that is said here is what we have seen as immigration issues not our personal thoughts

and i listed the big issues as OP asked

there is a lot of help here if all info is posted so we can go step by step into any issues and give positive feedback

and the 10 + years is a biggie/  especially if she is not child bearing age and Nigeria family expects children of a marriage

Well something is really wrong for a petition to be in RFE status over a year and now the petitioner is being brought in. They only do this when they suspect fraud.
What shall your wife do take all updated evidence of trips since she filed and communications and visits taking her passport to show visa stamps.

Also you wife may be asked to speak to the money sent and how much and why? Cool for men to send to women but women normally don;t support men. Remember it's about how it looks not ho valid the reasoning is. You have to think like total stranger looking at your evidence and not yourself.

Did you submit pictures with your parents? 10+years can be a problem just depends.
Since this is at the USCIS level it's surprising. I know what the embassy wants to see but you are stuck at USCIS. Since before COVID and the Nigerian Ban about the fake documents and such I have to ask have you ever in life

1. applied for a visitor visa, student visa or any other kind of visa?
2. Have you been married before white wedding, traditional or registry?

3. Do you have children?

Big age gaps doesn't have to be an issue if you can show you are compatible and spend time together. I am 26 years older than my Nigerian husband but I also went there and stayed during the petition process and lived until he got Visa.

Except OP's "strong mind" won't help in his spouse's interview.

It's wrong to think women shouldn't support men. She's my wife and she has the right to support me. It's a marriage and we're supposed to have each other's back through thick and thin and she did just that. For better for worse is the deal. With all said, God knows it's genuine and I'm sure God has our back. Thank you for your response
