G-325A is also used for AOS, at at that point there will be a Husband/Wife.

When filing for I-129F Fiancee visa, there is no husband or wife, you can either put "NONE" or "N/A" because this does not apply for a fiancee visa.

SEE Example: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/INS-Form-G-325A.pdf

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

esmergar,

They are looking for a name and other information about one's husband or wife. Or the word 'none' if there is no husband or wife.

Yodrak

My question is what do I put under "Husband or Wife (If none, so state.) what does it mean?

As more anecdotal evidence that the details on this form are not important, "none" is also what I wrote on both my wife's and my G325a forms submitted with the I-130. We were just married and I was so accustomed to being single it didn't occur to me I had a wife.

"None" had better be the correct answer when filing a petition for fiance(e).

pushbrk,

How did you answer question C.17 on the I-130?

Which reminds me - once upon a time the example I-130 here at VJ had 'none' as the answer for that question.

Interesting. I only wrote the name of her daughter. I didn't list myself.

If you have never been married before just write the word NONE in there.

If you have been married before, write the name of your ex husband there.

No, this is a G325a being used in biographical support of a fiance visa petition. The specific space in question is asking about a current husband or wife. There better not be one. The answer is "none" because if you have a husband or wife currently, you don't qualify to petition for a fiance visa.

Again, I answered wrong and the petition was approved anyway.

pushbrk,

I'm sure they figured out that she had a husband and you were him. After all, you were petitioning on that basis.

Yes, of course. I suspect they see the same mistakes often. I caught it and did both correctly on the I-129F and its G325a.
