Restarting the visa process after one year

My wife is a Korean citizen, we currently live in Korea and are hoping to move the US next year.

We originally applied for my wife's green card in November 2019. The I-130 was approved in May of 2020. Due the pandemic, we were unable to move to the US. The Korean embassy's website stated that the i-130 expired after two years, and various threads on this forum said that the i-130 didn't expire. In May of this year, I received a letter from the National Visa Center that said my case would be terminated in one year (May 2022) if I didn't pursue the visa application.

Now, I'd like to re-open my case. However, when I tried to do so, I received a message that said fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted, and that I should contact the NVC to pursue my immigrant visa application. I've sent an online inquiry with the National Visa Center, and now I'm waiting for their reply. Does anyone know what will happen with my case? Will I have to start the whole process again from the beginning?

NVC will reopen the case and proceed from where you left off.  If there are adjustments to fees, they'll tell you.  You'll definitely need new affidavit of support and police reports
