Hello everyone!

we are applying for the K1 visa and our case is already at the US Embassy in Bogota. It has been a month since the embassy received our case and we have not heard anything…should we do something to receive the instructions for the interview? Or do we have to just wait?…I am not sure if at this point I have to pay or do something additional to get any news…also I don’t know if the instructions packet is sent to the petitioner or to the beneficiary…

I sent an email but we didn’t received an answer.

Thank you!

Hello!

My Embassy is different but i can write down how it went in my case, it might be similar. It took 50 days to get packet 3 instructions. I (beneficiary) got them in email that we provided in i129F and DS160 (since i filled that form when our case was ‘ready’). We didn’t pay anything until packet 4 instructions.
