Is there any updates in here about the recent interviews at Lebanon Us embassy? Anyone?

100 days since DQ and still no interview letter

We received our DQ on August 2nd 2021. We received our visa interview appointment letter on November 16th. We are scheduled for interview on Dec 6th.

Ohh really! I’m dq since August 17 too, your interview was in lebanon? And what’s your case please?

Yes, my wife is having her interview, in Lebanon, on the 6th of Dec. Based on another timeline from Lebanon, I suspect you will have your interview letter soon. I was expecting 4 months from time of DQ to interview letter, but it ended up being shorter. We are a IR1 case.

That’s amazing! I’m IR2 , I hope I’ll get an interview in these 2 weeks then 🙏🏼It would be a great Christmas gift😅

Yes, that will be great news. Just remember from the time you receive the interview letter they give you about 3 weeks to get the medical exam done before the actual date of the interview. You could still have it prior to Christmas!

 

I'll make sure to post how the interview goes after my wife attends. I know I was constantly searching these forums for any hope of some movement on a case similar to mine in Lebanon.  We started our immigration journey back in April of 2020. Its been a long journey, but it's finally coming to an end, hopefully.

We received visa approval today. Short interview. Appointment was at 9:15 and out at 10:30. Visa and passport will be available for collection in about 1 week.

Thanks. I suspect you will get your visa interview letter this month based on IR status and priority. The visa/passport was available for pickup on the 7th, so a real fast turnaround once approved (1 day). Good luck to you!
