I would be careful about using a conversion chart for something like an engagement ring. Why not just measure the your finger and give him the size.

Good idea. Get a piece of string and measure the circumference of your ring finger. Give him this measurement and any jeweler should be able to convert that in to a ring size. I would be a careful of sending any jewelry through mail.

Oh interesting. I guess in Indonesia we use japanese ring size so for me it's size 10, 53/8 in USA size.

Maybe you could just send him he piece of string you measured with, just cut it off to the right size. That might be helpful to the jeweler, and keep him from making a mistake on something that big.
