Transferring to a different consulate

Hello all,

 

Has anyone successfully transferred (or heard of anyone who has successfully transferred) their case to another consulate?

 

I am a dual citizen of two countries but the country that I currently live in (Jordan) is extremely backed up and was wondering if it is worth the effort to try and transfer my case to a different consulate (the other country I hold my citizenship with) since they have less wait times. Would I need to do my medical at the other country? Does transferring cases hurt me in anyway?

 

I appreciate any insight anyone has around this subject

Hi, 

 

This is possible, I know a few (with dual citizenship) that have transferred from Stockholm to other places in europe due to the backlog. 

You need to do your medical exam in the country you are having your interview. 

I am not sure what you mean by if it would hurt you in any way? It should not affect your case in any negative way
