Personally, I would take that to be a general politicking maneuver.  One thing to say and entirely different to do.  If anything, the processing times (nearly across the board) have gotten worse not better ...

There are few categories of course which have improved but generally, nothing that was stated in that reduction targets has really happened.

 

I suppose we can always hope.

Weekly update ....

Nothing really happening in my December 2021 filings (2 RFEs and 1 updated file) ...

Not unusual.

 

 

As for burndown this week, only 241 cases were seen being opened (including all withdrawls)

That is a little disheartening but not unexpected as between Christmas and New Years this past week.

Weekly Update (Ran 1/6/2023)

Not really anything happening in my group (December 2021) still.

We had a couple of denials and termination notices but nothing really to report for December.

 

For the rest of you, 468 Case updates is a dramatic improvement over last week but still slow.

A couple of untouched cases seen as acted upon in November 2021, but sti;l quite a few cases 
untouched dating all the way back to Aug 2021.

Hopefully, we will see the pace picks up again now that we are into the new year.

I am a December filer, but I can try to do it if there is no one scanning November daily. I'm not super tech-savvy so someone may need to explain how to run the script to me.

Looks like it is going to be a good week for K1 Processing at USCIS

Got curious how active the USCIS has been ... and from last friday to today they have opened a good number of cases including 26 in the first week of November (20 Approvals/5 RFEs/1 Other)

Total (previously untouched) cases opened : 475

Official scan will be done Friday as usual

Jan 13 Update:
Huge improvement this week in opening K1 cases this week.

Total (previously untouched) cases opened :    879 - Hope they keep this up

Hi all! I finally had time to run @Elson George's script for November. From now on I'll try to do daily updates, at worse I'll be doing them Mon-Wed-Fri.

Here's last week's (9-13 January) summary for Nov 2021 cases:
Approval: 54

Denial: 0

Withdrawal: 1

RFE Sent: 12
RFE Received: 0
Other: 8 (Updated info, transferred case, expedite approved, expedite denied)

 

Total for this month: 2602 Untouched, 164 Approvals, 18 RFESs, 3 RFERs, 197 Denials, 170 Expedites (Denied: 169 / Approved: 1)

@mw & rg k1 if you'll also be doing November scans maybe we can crosscheck each other's output at the end of each week?

Actually, I am doing my own custom script scan for December group.
But while there was nothing happening (and still not), I built a script to show where unopened cases are (and those results were meaningful to other groups like Aug, Sept, Oct, and Nov at different times)
