Hello Beautiful People, 

I will be filing my N400 application sometime  January next year under the 3 years rule since I’m married to a US citizen. Please what are the list of documents should I start preparing for? And do I need to send or upload photos of me and my spouse? because my spouse don’t like taking photos lol. 
I will so much appreciate your feedback. 
 

NB: I will be filing online.

NB: I will be filing online. 

Are you within the 90 days since you been a LPR? And you have filed for Removal of Conditions or already received your 10 year green card. I asked because you have no timeline and have Adjustment of status on your profile.

 

You need to show you still live together. Pictures aren't necessary. 3 years as filing taxes and a lease showing you still married and marriage certificate.

Yes I already got my 10years PR and yes I will be within the 90 days period in January. This is my first coming across this forum that’s why you can’t see my timeline. I became permanent resident in 2019.

The instructions for the N400 is fairly detailed (starting on Page 10), so I would study that.  There is little Required Evidence (some apply to specific details of the applicant) asked for, but much more listed as documents to bring to the interview.  Many folks that file online upload all the interview documents for the filing.  My wife filed by mail, only provided the 2 pieces of required evidence that applied to her, and took the rest to the interview.

Nope, photos are not required..The N400 is fairly easy and I found it much easier to file online..No pics required, but the last 3 years of tax transcripts, marriage certificate, and lease agreement or mortgage showing you two still lived together under the same roof are what is required..You will submit all that evidence online and if you have additional evidence to send such as a joint savings or checking account, life insurance and auto insurance showing you both on there to boost your case..

Updates Guys…. 
 

I submitted my N400 online this morning at about 5:30am EST and within few minutes it shows biometrics reused and is being actively reviewed by USCIS. 
 

My estimated time is 13months and I reside in Atlanta.
