My fiancé passed the embassy interview last night (today her time) and said the interview only took 5 minutes.  The interviewer didn't even ask for affidavit of support or the scrapbook of photos of us together she made for evidence.  It sounds like the embassy is pushing people through fast to try to catch up on the backlog so if you're still waiting for an interview date it could be coming soon!

Congratulations

Conrgratulations

and the CO read thru the packet before interview/  they know what they are doing

when just a few questions are asked ,  the intent (from what i read on here ) is to approve

when they get technical with a list of questions ,  they are searching for the honesty they do not see in the packet

Since 2014 (my how time flies)  the embassy rarely asks for the support evidence, it is still listed as required for the interview but rarely asked for.   As for photos they have rarely been asked for as long as I have been around.

Sound like a normal interview process ... 3 - 5 minutes .. have a nice day.

Congrats!

Man, our NOA2 was Jan 2020. Did you guys expedite or somehow contact them to schedule?

We didn't contact them but the email we received with the interview date did say it was somehow expedited and the language sounded like it was either pass that interview or the next one was going to be a long wait if any of the documentation wasn't in order.  Keep an eye on your email, you should be getting an update any day now.  For us we heard nothing until around September when we got a couple emails that said our papers were still at NVC and not to contact them, just keep waiting.  Have you gotten any email like that?
