Citizenship Interview Decision yet to be made

Hi All I am very new to this site,

 

My question is I have finished my Citizenship interview on Sep 2021 and passed the English and Civics question, The officer gave me a letter in that its says decision yet to be made.

 

My interview is done.... 

 

My case status online is not updated. (It says we have mailed you the interview notice "this status is before the interview") and status is not changed after the interview 

 

Any answers on this.....

You just have to wait. I believe official decision days are 120

This is all completely normal, you do not need to do anything at the moment.

 

As @Timona said above they officially have 120 days to make a decision, although often it can take even longer than that. Until you hit 120 days of there is not much you can do, so just try not to think about it too much until then. I was waiting over a year and a half after my interview, although that is extremely unusual. In all likelihood, you should get a decision soon.

 

Also, you should absolutely NOT apply for another N-400, you would just be wasting your money. You already have a valid N-400 application that is being processed.

Exactly, as others have said here, it is still too early for a decision.  Join this thread below if you want, it is filled with cases like yours and we keep track of each other.  In my case I am still waiting after 7 months, others were from 3 to more than a year wait, all types of cases.  Hard to know about the outcome.
