Changing phone numbers during ROC process.

My wife and I got new phones with new phone numbers (Happy Festivus:-) )  We will only be keeping the old numbers until the end of the month. Is there any point to notifying USCIS about the new numbers. Their success rate for updating new addresses has to be less than 50% judging by what I have read here over the years so updating numbers is probably nil.

****I was able to update on our myUSCIS account. I guess that is better than nothing ;-)****

You still want to make the effort to update the information with USCIS.  You also want to *save copies* of any receipts you get when you update your information.

If you get into an interview and the officer asks about why you didn't update your information with your new phone numbers, you want to be able to say "I did" and show the proof.  You want the officer to see that you're making every effort to play the game as expected.

I still have copies of all of our AR-11s when my wife was in the process, as well as the letters back from USCIS confirming that we had changed our address each time.  I brought all of it to the interviews.  I don't remember them ever asking about it, but I had it if they wanted to see it.

Do they care?  Probably not.  But why not do it and be prepared just in case?
