How long did it take? I just wonder if it is slower now due to Covid.

Social Security cards very promptly showed up in my mailbox exactly 7 days after they arrived at LAX.  No sign of any green cards yet but that is not an issue since the stamped visa is the temporary green card.  The CBP Officer who processed my wife and stepdaughter was very friendly but had a rather disparaging assessment of his colleagues at USCIS processing green cards lately.  He jokingly (??) told my wife the green card may come in 3 months or 6 months and she may have to call them a few times to get them to work on it.

We still have not received the SS card. Our CBP officer pretty much said the same thing. She was great. She was Filipino so she was really nice to my wife and boys and got us through quickly.

The SS cards for my step kids arrived 5 days after arrival.  I had to go to SSA for my wife's for some reason.  I think because of the K-1 denial followed by the CR-1.  All green cards arrived on 122 day (promised within 120 at the time).

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Hoping your wife already received her SSN.  My SS card arrived 8 days after my POE.  The card says my SSN was issued 2 days after POE, so I guess the card could have been delivered sooner if not for the Thanksgiving holidays in between.

Sadly we never got the card. I guess we will need to contact them for a replacement :( We might need to go down to the SS office I think.
