None of that makes sense. Please complete your timeline here if you actually want useful feedback.

How is it not make sense?I never heard that the petitioner was called for interview while the beneficiary is still abroad. So it is strange to me.

And I lost my Employment Authorization Card which the USCIS told to bring at the interview.

Very simple Sir/Madam.

What visa?  What country?  Is the petitioner a USC or LPR?

Yeah, it makes no sense that a petitioner would be called for an interview.

So, if you want useful advice, complete a timeline.  I'm out.

It is not visa processing yet.It is still in USCIS(I-130).

I sincerely do not know a better timeline.

Thank you anyway.

Timeline refers to the information that Visa Journey members have on their profile.  You should enter that information (click where it says "timeline" under your name - it is not rocket science.) to get the best advice possible.

With the limited information you have given, I'd say that it is very atypical that you would be interviewed in the United States as a petitioner, prior to your beneficiary's overseas interview.

Sounds to me like they are questioning your eligibility to petition that person.

Obviously, they want to see my eligibility. The question is what would happen since I lost one of the document that I required to bring which is Employment Authorization Card?

Since I mentioned USCIS so I assumed that everyone understand that I am from US.Sorry for that.I should had explained in details.

You can't bring what you don't have.

It is quite rare that any petitioner is interviewed in the US prior to the overseas immigrant interview, so you won't get much feedback from firsthand experience.

If you have a green card now or a US passport, and you should have one or the other if you had an EAD from 10 years ago, just go to the interview with the documents you have, and explain that you lost the old EAD.  They will have all of your information in their files anyway, so just be honest in the interview, completely honest.  An interview for the petitioner is extremely rare, they are most likely going to question you about your past immigration journey, to make sure that all of your answers on the I-130 align with your past record. Something may appear to be inconsistent when they reviewed the I-130, so they are calling you in for an interview to ask about those things.  I suggest that you review the I-130 that you sent in, and compare your answers with previous documents you sent to get your LPR or US citizen status.  Good luck!

They won't even ask for EAD, it's just a general list to bring anything issued by uscis that you may have one. So don't worry about the lost ead, they don't care about that at all.

Having said that, they have some serious doubts on your petition and wanted to clarify with you. Not sure what supporting docs you have submitted, I'd say bring any relevant documents. Are there any red flags that you can think of?

Is the withdrawal of previous i130 and new i130 for the same beneficiary or different?

What do you mean by disaster? Were there issues in your relationship or a disaster back in your partner's home country?
