Not really anything to do with you, I presume she does want to visit you, She needs a visa a passport and a ticket.

She wants to visit or immigrate? No sponsorship to visit.

No sponsorship for a B2 visa.  As @Boiler stated, she needs a passport, a visa (which she applies for with the DS160 form), and if that is granted, a plane ticket.

She can present evidence of ties to the country, like if she owns a home, if she gets a retirement/pension, etc.

You do not sponsor anything. She has to prove she can fund her trip and also has ties to Nigeria and will go back.

Just know Lagos nor Abuja is doing regular processing of Visitor visa. And the schedule is now in 2024. My brother in law schedule his interview in August and the earliest date was November 2023.
here's no sponsorship for visitor Visa she qualifies on her own. She needs to have strong ties to Nigeria and they need to feel she has every reason to return back to her country.

She applies for  b2 visa and is approved on her own merits and her merits alone. You have nothing to do with it. There is no sponsorship. She must prove that she has strong ties to home and proof that she can afford to pay for her trip on her own.

It’s a thing in some other countries and so such people project this onto the USA

And it is a total pain in the rectum.  For instance both times my wife applied for an e-visa to visit India she needed the name of a friend in India.  Luckily I have friends in India so with his permission we used my friend’s name and contact info.  He wasn’t even in town when she visited the second time, as she wasn’t planning on visiting him.  In theory Indian immigration could have called each time to reference check her.

Must suck for visitors to India who don’t know anyone there.
