I am not sure I understand why you have been exchanging texts with the Baby Mama.

Well he was trying to get back with me (to submit for removal of conditions of course) so I texted her his perverted emails he wants me and evidence he is sleeping around with other women here in USA. (I had access to his voicemail) Baby mother is still in Dominican Republic

Ahh, just wondering how old the child is and if old enough if the child has been declared on immigration paperwork

I understand it is still in affect but didn’t he have to Submit a new I-864?

No, you submitted the I 864, he could not have got his 2 year GC otherwise.

I was thinking if he did not declare the child when he originally immigrated, I am not sure that would be a really big issue but does not help.

Nope.  Not required when submitting an I-751.  The one you submitted remain in effect until he:

1.  Becomes a US citizen, or

2.  Gains 40 quarters of work (10 years), or

3.  Loses status and leaves the US, or

4.  Dies.

Divorce does not terminate your obligations.

@Ernesto298 have you considered the possibility that your husband was married at the time he married you? Sometimes that is part of play book.

Hi all,

i am new here. I have a question. I brought my soon to be ex husband  here to USA as a fiancé. We married here and later separated (his infidelity) after he had gotten his 2 green card. He just applied to remove his conditions but was given the 2 year green card not the 10yr. I did not help him with any paperwork or anything. He just sent an email bragging about his approval letter. What Does that mean after 2 yrs will he get the 10 year green card?

If you are less than two years married, your spouse will receive a temporary two years green card (CR1 "Conditional Residence Status). Two years later he can apply again (he has to apply) to remove the Conditional Status and receive the 10 years green card. If he can produce that time an absolute divorce certificate, and a good explanation of your split, he can file a waiver without your help and receive his 10 years card.
