2 year green card extensions

Hi all, 

 

i am new here. I have a question. I brought my soon to be ex husband  here to USA as a fiancé. We married here and later separated (his infidelity) after he had gotten his 2 green card. He just applied to remove his conditions but was given the 2 year green card not the 10yr. I did not help him with any paperwork or anything. He just sent an email bragging about his approval letter. What Does that mean after 2 yrs will he get the 10 year green card?

After removal of conditions, a 10 year Green card will be issued.   He didn't need you for the removal.  However, the I-864 you signed is still in effect.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

He applies 90 days before the expiry with a divorce waiver for his 10 year GC

A 2 year extension letter is always issued when a person submits an I-751.....This is normal.... It does not mean his removal was approved.

That will be determined by USCIS.  However, statistics show that less than 5% of I-751s are denied.....

Evidence he scammed me for a green card. I sent a letter and photos of him and his child mother together and texts from her confirming He only married me for papers

Sounds like pretty good evidence...better evidence would be texts from him claiming the same....Good luck.
