Request an translator at interview

Hello everyone I have question my wife will have an interview coming up at U.S embassy in Ankara, Turkey so my wife she’s speak Arabic with little bit English, I am wondering if the embassy will provide an interpreter to the interview because We wants to make sure she’s understanding all questions as they Mentioned at the embassy website they conducting  interview to language  English,Turkish ,Persian, so any recommendation from anyone who been in this situation before??

Yes, they normally have interpreters available for the languages they cover.  This should not be a problem unless you and your wife don't share a common language.

Important Note on Visa Interviews:

Interviews are conducted in English, Turkish and Persian. An applicant must bring an interpreter if he or she does not speak English, Turkish or Persian well enough to participate unassisted in the visa interview. If you need to conduct your interview in another language, please contact us at https://tr.usembassy.gov/visas/contact-immigrant-visa-section/ with your language preference and we will provide you further instructions.

 

You need to contact the embassy and inform them you want to conduct the interview in Arabic.
