Should I move my case to Poland or Thailand?

Hello, my fiancé is a Russian national and we have the choice of either shifting our case to Poland or Thailand.  Russia's embassy is closed since March due to diplomatic disputes and this month they began moving all Russian cases to Poland.  However, Thailand also accepted our request to transfer, and we aren't sure which is the best option.

 

We are leaning towards Thailand because she would not need a visa, and because there is probably a huge backlog from all the Russians moving their cases to Poland.
