I did a missing mail claim yesterday so hopefully that will turn up something. Will wait a couple of weeks before we do anything with assembling a new package. Would be great if it turns out like your situation. How long did it take before they found yours that you know of ?

Like I said, USPS never found it because it had been delivered. It was over a month before USCIS sent receipts but the receipts showed they received the package only a few days after I mailed it.

Hopefully that will happen with our packet. I appreciate your response!

I had a very similar problem, I'll just answer to (hopefully) give you some relief. USPS said "In transit, arriving late" for a week or so, the last distribution center scan was in NJ. I did a service request, they couldn't find it, I did a lost mail request after...Next thing I know, I get a USCIS notification of receipt of the I-485 and then two days later I get the USPS delivery confirmation. I've seen several people on here with similar issues. USPS actually don't lose much mail, so it should be OK, they're just unreliable with delivery times and notifications. Best of luck.

I really want to support the postal service, but will never do so with important documents again. The most annoying part of the process was seeing the email from USPS with the subject line "Your USPS Service Request #XXXXXXXX Has Been Resolved!" which got my hopes up, with the text in the email then saying "The item has not arrived to our Chicago facility to process for delivery, Due to the many variables that may have caused the item no updated tracking events I am unable to determine its status. If your item was damaged on our high-speed sorting equipment it is not retrievable."

09/15/21 - Sent packet via USPS to Chicago lockbox

09/22/21 - Priority date

09/26/21 - Text/email confirmation of receipt by USCIS

09/28/21 - Checks cashed by USCIS

09/30/21 - Received I-797C for I-485, I-765, I-131 and I-130 in mail

10/09/21 - USCIS online account updates to schedule biometrics

11/01/21 - Biometrics appointment (Brooklyn, NY)

11/04/21 - Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS

02/14/22 - I-765 Expedite requested

02/24/22 - Expedite evidence sent

03/23/22 - EAD arrived in mail

05/06/22 - AP approved (expedited)

01/03/23 - RFE for I-693, case transferred to Boise, ID office

01/17/23 - I-485 approved

01/25/23 - GC arrived in mail

11/12/24 - Sent I-751 packet via USPS

That’s the same email I got! Must be the generic copy and paste response. Yeah I agree, usually the mail is fine and never had any issues overall. I’m hoping ours will be the same and the check will go through here soon and we don’t have to resend. Trying to give it another week or two before we do anything. I appreciate your response and am glad it worked out for you in the end!

I just remember the stress of not knowing being the worst, but based on what I've seen, you should be OK.

Package was "found" and delivered and signed by the lock box this morning. Thanks everyone for all the info while we waited!

I’ll keep y’all posted, seems like they are working fast on cases starting with IOE from Texas. I’ve seen the same comments on other groups. USCIS sent us a online account access code did y’all revive the same?

USCIS “received” our packet on 11/19/21

Yes, we got a letter in the mail with a access code for the online account. After that we got all three hard copies of each case over this past weekend. Hopefully we get our appt. soon as well.
