Good morning,  I had my interview on November 2, 2021 but my medical was not in on time. The officer said my visa would be approved when he received the medical exam.  He handed me a 221 g form stating reason is medical exam. The exam was emailed to the consulate on November 4, 2021. My status still shows refused and the last date it was updated was November 4. I emailed the consulate but still have not received a response. Is this normal procedure or should I be concerned. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Redie

Normal.  It sounds like the medical exam hasn't been evaluated at the consulate yet.  Sadly, consulates work at their own pace.....not ours.  I predict you will receive good news any day now.

It’s been more than a week that I submitted  my email and still no response!

Hey Redie,

Both me and another individual are in similiar positions as you. Interview was completed and medical results sent the day after. My interview was November 8th, medical was sent on the 9th and zero updates since then. Please let the rest of us know the status of your visa as soon as it's been updated! Fingers crossed that you get good news VERY soon. ❤️

Sorry to hear that you are going through the same thing. It is so frustrating and stressful. I finally received a generic email today stating that they received my medical and it is still going through administrative processing! I will definitely keep you updated on the status of my visa. Best of luck to you!
