An eerie echo of the above from our caucus with Mini-B.'s pediatrician.  She refused to admit to any side effects or to acknowledge any attempts to discuss data.

Pfff pediatrician.  What does she know. You got the experts at VJ

Got it, first try!

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

You place too much blind trust in doctors. There has been more than one time a doctor has got it wrong when it comes to health issues I was dealing with. Not surprisingly the doctor misdiagnosed my problem and gave me a bunch of pharmaceuticals that did more harm than good. Eventually I went to a chiropractor who correctly diagnosed my problem (within 5 minutes of being in his office) then confirmed it with an xray. He gave me some stretches to do and some supplements to take and my problem eventually corrected its self. Come to think of it I can't think of a time in my adult life when a doctor actually gave me the correct diagnosis or treatment for any problem I was dealing with. Most (not all) doctors are nothing more than pill and shot pushers for big pharma.

Yes doctors do miss stuff but I will trust trained health care professionals more than I will fringe element websites.

So a doctor not one time in your life has ever once given you the correct treatment?

The problem I have that I described above is scoliosis. Years ago it was causing me severe pain (to the point that i couldn't walk some days). The doctor didn't even do a physical exam much less an xray and right away told me the muscles in my back were probably tense then proceeded to write me a prescription for muscle relaxers and pain killers. After i tried what the doctor told me to do with no results I went to a chiropractor. Within 5 minutes of being in his office he quickly looked at my back and could see the curve in my spine and the way I was standing and told me what the problem was which he confirmed with an xray. In order for a doctor to "miss" something they have to actually look. This doctor failed to even do that and went right to pharmaceuticals. I could give other examples of similar situations.

Other than when I was a kid and needed stitches (pretty hard to misdiagnose that) in all honestly no.

My doctor was spot on with my diagnosis and the blue pill fixed it so there

Even A broken clock is right twice a day. In all seriousness though I never said doctors are always wrong. However given their track record (especially in my personal experience) it is probably prudent to independently verify what they tell you instead of having blind faith in them. "The doctor said it so it must be factual" doesn't cut it in my book.

Make sure you explain this to the Dr at your hospital or other facility when you get sick or need emergency care.    "Given their track record"  hahahhahaha.     So you basically throw out illogical strawman arguments and think you've made a point.   I find it odd that someone that would have connections to the Philippines with it's poverty largely created due to an authoritarian regime would buy into the right wing garbage.

This is 100% politics.   Let's put that front and center.  Covid hurt tRump and his initial reaction to dismiss it was a complete bungling of how to address a problem.  This is management 101 and as usual he failed.    Now he's weaponized people like you to believe all the nonsense so you spend time on an immigration forum debating politics and whether a vaccine is a good idea.   History won't be kind on all of this looking back 🙄

I love how people with NO medical education all the sudden are experienced in immunology and use Google as the main source of information and feel brave enough to comment about it.

Without tRump none of this was controversial.

Looks like someone is suffering from Trump derangement syndrome. I didn't even mention Trump or anything related to politics in the comment you quoted or in this conversation. Your guy is in. I have moved on. Why can't you? If anyone is trying to make this political it is you. I didn't know it was right wing or left wing to be skeptical (especially when being misguided in the past by the very people you seem to be implying I should blindly trust).

As far as my "connections" to the Philippines go I have been there multiple times. I have personally seen the poverty people deal with there. I have also seen the horrible conditions in some blue cities here in the US and I gotta tell you what I saw in the Philippines pales in comparison to what I saw in the blue cities. At least in the Philippines poor people generally have the decency to not take a dump in the middle of the street or shoot up drugs in the open. The other difference is people in the Philippines live on the streets because they have no choice. In blue cities they do it because they are lazy bums who don't want to get a job. Lawlessness in blue cities is what allows that type of stuff to happen. You set out to make this political and I guess you have succeeded.
