Hi all,

I applied for AOS, EAD and AP all at once to Chicago, on June 21st, with NOA1 dates for AOS and EAD of June 27th. I even got the biometrics appt for July 17th. I never got the NOA1 for the AP! Is this common, or could they have lost or misplaced my other application for Advance Parole?

Thank you,

Mike.

Did they cash your check payment for AP?

YMMV

Yes, they cashed all of my checks, for AOS, AED and AP the same day. It's strange, I got both NOA1s, just not for the AP. Which means I don't have the case number, and cannot check it's status...any thoughts?

Thanks,

Mike.

I think the case number should be on the back of the check. So if you can get an image copy from the bank take a look see.

YMMV

Most of the time, the numbers on the check are wrong, when looked mine up, they were incorrect.

The numbers on the back of the check are correct... the problem is in the image quality..... same thing happened to me.

No.... the numbers on my three checks for AOS, EAD & AP were VERY clear - but they weren't the same as the receipt numbers on my NOAs. The checks had something like MSCxxxxxxxx56, 57 and 58 on them, and the receipt numbers were MSCxxxxxxxx59, 61 and 62. Definitely not a case of the numbers being blurry. And a lot of people have reported the same thing.

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

No. The numbers on the back of the checks are not always the same. The numbers on the back of my checks were about 3-4 off the actual numbers on the NOA1s. Image quality was not to blame, the numbers were extremely clear.

It's not uncommon for people to receive NOA's on different dates. I'm sure you'll receive the NOA for your AP any day now. ;)

I can relate to what happened to you. We sent out my husband's AOS, EAD, & AP paperwork together and received NOA1 for both AOS & EAD, but never received AP NOA1 until this day. Our NOA1 which we received in the mail for AOS & EAD are dated June 1st. My husband decided to call the customer service number around June 20 something, but they told us that we had to wait until 30 days after the NOA1 date. When we reached our 30 day mark, my husband called the customer service number once again. This time they looked more into his case. They transfered him to someone else who told him that they did, in fact receive his AP paperwork and that they did mail out the NOA1 for it. They said that they could not understand why we did not receive the NOA1 for it. They did however give us the case number, so we are now able to track the touches on the uscis.gov website. We don't know what happened to the NOA1 for AP because we have not received it. They also told my husband that they cannot mail another one out.

Maybe you should try calling the 1-800 number to see what they tell you.
