She's on her flight here right now, actually!! Exciting day. 😄 We're getting married at the courthouse on April 4, and will have a ceremony with friends and family later in the year.

I guess we're just using the Visajourney AOS guide, though I've only gotten some of it ready so far.

She didn't get travel insurance because we didn't think that was legal for this scenario? But she's got a 90 day supply of her medication, and we're getting married quickly so both of us can get a new plan as soon as possible.

I hope things are going well with you, too!

I'm seeing conflicting information regarding insurance so I think we may just tough it out for now too.   Have a great ceremony April 4 and hope the flight went smooth!

What happens once we mail in our passport,  medical results, police records, updated forms...that's everything that was requested recently in February via email....once we mail it, how long do they keep the passport and does this definitely mean they're finally ready to issue visa if the passport is requested???

Hi there! I'm glad your AOS was approved!

Unfortunately we've had nothing approved yet, and it's stressful that my wife still can't work (and couldn't even get a social security number). We received an RFE in June and sent it back in August (busy summer), but we've heard nothing since then. Checking in on the May filers thread, it really seems like a mixed bag of people getting quick approvals, somewhere in between, or no word at all. I hope we get some action on her case going soon.

Congratulations again on your case!

Congratulations again on your case!

It may just be coincidence but I used the "Ask Emma" thing to speak with a live representative and there was action taken on my case the next day. May be worth a shot if you haven't already!
