Hello! Just want to ask my fellow K1 Visa filers if you have received any Packet 3 letter in the mail recently?

I checked on our case on the CEAC tracker and it said "ready" on November 2, 2021. I was just wondering if any of you who has the same timeline already got their Packet 3 letter in the mail?

Thank you!

Just a heads up.  I never received my Packet 3 back in 2019.   It never arrived.  I proceeded as if it had.

I actually sent my DS-160 confirmation, the checklist and copy of my passport to montreal-iv-dv@state.gov when my status changed to "Ready". But I just got an automated response from them.

I just want to check in with other filers too if they received the Packet 3 in the mail. Hoping to get a little bit of info so that I can do some estimation of when it will arrive in the mail.

The whole process is just so exhausting and discouraging sometimes.

Thank you though! 😊

Nothing yet here. Let us know when you do and we will do the same.

I just got my Packet 3 today. Last Friday, they send my fiancé an email asking him to send my proof of legal immigration here in Canada. I emailed it to them last Friday. They sent it on my email. Did you get anything?

Nothing yet but we will check the mail today. The DS-160 is driving us a bit insane as there are hundreds of visits to the US to log in and the website is not very optimized. Thanks for the update!

I know. I didn't have to put a lot of travel info but the thing with that DS-160 is that it just keeps on timing out. Try and save with every info that you put in. Hopefully you'll hear from them soon.

It's interesting because U.S. Immigration keeps a log of every time you enter the country online so having to enter every day trip is driving us insane with the crashing website. We're through 2018 so far!

You can do it! All this hardwork that we put into our application will pay off soon. Good luck to us!

Hopefully you'll get your Packet 3 soon. I am always anxious, and kept on checking my email too. They said that it will take about 6 six for them to review the documents that I sent before they send the Packet 4. But I am hoping that it won't take that long.

Guys, we just got an appointment today. Did y'all get anything?

I received an email today from Visa Information Service telling me about my appointment date and time. I was actually surprised that I didn't get any Packet 4.

I registered and paid the visa fee as well. Is this normal for K1 Visa? I thought we are the one responsible for scheduling an appointment. Did they change the process?

My schedule is on January 6, 2022. I was really hoping to get an interview appointment this December but I guess they are pretty full already.

They did change the process.  We are still waiting for the P3 packet over here =(

Did you already do the criminal background checks?  Where did you get the fingerprints done at?

I was confused as well. Is the email I got the Packet 4 already?

Yes, the day my application arrived at the Consulate, I went ahead and requested for my police certificate. Just go to RCMP and then tell them what you need. I had to go there twice because the first police certificate they issued me was wrong. The guy who took my fingerprints was all confused about what the embassy really wants.
