Hi, can someone help me to answer for below:

1) Any issue if my passport already expired and haven’t renew?

2) I don’t have a driving license yet in US. Any problem if I don’t send a copy?

3) Is the affidavits letter must be included?

Thank you everyone in advance!

Passport is only a problem if you need to travel outside the US.

Driving license is not a problem though you can always send an ID.

Affidavits are not required, they are additional supportive documents.

Yup here on CR1! Ah gotcha 😕

Oh my gosh, hey, MSC/CR1 buddy! We also got MSC. I was freaking out because only one other person seemed to have gotten that service center, but it's good to know that it's because my husband came in on a CR1. I was hoping we wouldn't have to do biometrics/interview, but oh well...

We submitted early December, and the i-797 was sent out to us on Dec 9. So now I guess we're all just waiting!

Edit: because I just found out YSC is the Potomac center which I didn’t know before.
Hoping to get our text notice soon. Our package was delivered yesterday. Wonder why you have 2 numbers? Yeah MSC from what I understand means you’ll be interviewed.  Least your package is received and you’re on to the waiting game. Hopefully this goes as fast as your others.

SuznAaron mentioned above that this appears to be the case. Although based on the thread lurking that I've done recently, people who applied in late 2019 are only now getting interviews, so we have quite a wait ahead of us.

Yes this seems to be the case. You can’t get a time frame if assigned to MSC for the I 751. It’s back to the waiting game!

Yes very likely. You came in on K1 so it is likely you won’t have to interview as you did so for AOS. Of course no guarantees but fingers crossed. When you did your AOS your case number probably started with MSC. Ours did.

Seems so.  And those who come over on spousal visas (and therefore do not interview for AOS), will get an interview for ROC.

Our case started with MSC for AOS but for 1-751 it’s LIN . But I heard they both are slow service centres

LIN is Nebraska Service Center. We got Potomac. Everything is a bit slow now but yes yours and mine at Potomac are currently the slowest.

Don’t remember exactly.. that’s what I hear. Wonder if we don’t need another interview why we got LIN service centre. May be that gas nothing to do with them assigning these service centres

The rumors floating around on the older ROC threads is that K-1s who had AOS interviews and get a regional service center receipt # (LIN, WAC, etc) will likely have their interview (and biometrics) waived, unless there was some issue in the first interview that they want to revisit.  So those applications will be processed at the service center, and never even dispatched to the local field office.

Those adjusting from spousal visas or anyone else who did not have an AOS interview is very likely to be processed through MSC, and end up with an interview at their local field office.
