My husband’s earliest date to file was 12/4, I mailed the packet on 12/6, and got a text notice today (12/9) that we are assigned to Nebraska Service Center (LIN)… again! Lol, that’s where our initial I-130 was processed. 15-31 mos wait time, according to the website. May the odds be ever in your favor!

We got LIN also.  Just received the 24 mo extension letter today.  Not too worried about the wait time actually, but it would be nice if biometrics + interview were waived, since we just did that < 2 years ago!

You need the barcode or they will reject it because the form won’t be complete. It’s ok to send handwritten answers on your form. Just use a black pen like the instructions say.  I had to do it too. I tried different printers and what I wrote on the forms would just not print.

Thankyou , I did the same

Hopefully we receive our extension letter this week. Everyone seems to have theirs now except us (ours was received 12/2). We are hoping to have biometrics waived as well. Hubby has to travel to another state to get it done so would be nice if we didnt have to do that. Someone in the November filers I believe it was said their extension letter said they would transfer their biometrics data. One can always hope they will anyway!

We are Potomac Center. Agree about the wait time...we are together so it doesn't matter to us really.

That seems odd.  The boilerplate I-797 NOA serves as the extension letter, and it does not address biometrics.

I thought so too. I must find that again and see.

If it gets rejected again, they will tell you why. Just refile and do what is asked should it happen.

How long after they received the case did they cash the check?

Hey folks, we just got the text that our case was received (and official receipt notice to follow in the mail) but it didn't mention anything about which center. Is there another text that comes in about which center we are assigned to?

What are  the first letters in the receipt code?
