If I have a pending 1751 is that enough or do I need to apply for an extension or a document as proof that I'm still allowed to work and reside in the US?

No.  You will receive an extension letter which will extend the expiration date on your Green Card by 4 years.  You must use that extension letter along with the expired Green card if you need proof of your status.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Thank you. This will get mailed to me sometime after filing 1751?

Thanks again :)

When submitting evidences from financial institutions and mortgage policies, etc ... has anyone kept full account details on the documents they submit or are you redacting the numbers and just showing youre joint owners?

I was lazy to redact anything, but my bank statements didn't show the full numbers. Btw unlike others, I've sent only establishing bank statements and the most recent one and most recent utility bills.

BTW I finally got approved and my oath ceremony got scheduled!

I'm rooting for you. You are such a kind, helpful poster here.

My case is from December 2021 and, even though VJ's prediction says "any day now", it does not feel that way because I feel like we've been waiting forever. I know there are many people who have been waiting much longer, but, oh gosh, does it suck.

Yep I feel that. The prediction for mine has been inching sooner (allegedly August 2023) but I'm not holding my breath since mine ended up going to Potomac where it seems applications go to die 😥

I ended up getting a new job so there's a part of me that doesn't want to have to go in for an interview until August anyways because the closest service center is now 3-4 hours away and I don't want to have to take time off during my probationary period, but I'm nervous that nothing will happen for a long while after that...

Potomac? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I'm sorry to hear that and hope you hear from them right after your probationary period is over! It sucks bad, but it sucks a little less knowing we are suffering in good company, lol

Happy to report just got a confirmation when I checked today. New card is being produced

 This is i-751 only

Applied Dec 29 2021 and last update was Feb 2022 for fingerprints taken.

Congrats.  Hopefully the Calfornia center is making their applications through Dec 2021 as well.
