Hi all, I filed my wife's I-751 in December 2021 and they deposited the check. A month later I only got a I-797 saying biometrics will be reused. It didn't state anything about extension. Am I missing a notice? Anything to be worried about? Thanks in advance for your replies.

If you received a biometrics notice but no extension letter, then you are definitely missing the initial notice/extension letter. Contact USCIS and get this taken care of ASAP. That extension letter is proof of your wife's LPR status.

Hey guys,

I sent my document to USCIS on Dec.01.2021. However I haven't heard anything after Jan.26.2022.
This is my time line blow. I feel the process is too slow!

Is there anyone who has similar time line?

Dec.01.2021 : I-795 sent

Dec.11.2021 : Received I-797 / Notice of Action (Mentioned 24 months extend)

Dec.24.2021 : Received I-797C / Letter about the no need a biometrics

Jan.10. 2022 : On the Web / Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

Jan.13. 2022 : Received Transfer Notice

Jan.26. 2022 : On the Web / Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview

I read a blog post that the author got a 10 years Green Card within 5 months after she sent the document in 2021.

I really wonder why my document takes that much time...

Our case status just changed to "Request for Initial Evidence Sent" (MSC center)

This is for my 13 y/o stepdaughter. Her mom's (my wife's) I-751 was approved earlier this year. Since they entered more than 90 days apart I had to file two separate petitions.

Not sure what the heck they could be asking for.  I sent them pretty much every birth certificate, marriage license, passport bio page, evidence of bonafide relationship ,etc  that I could think of at the time. Hopefully it's something fairly straightforward that I overlooked like a missing doc.... we'll see when it arrives, hopefully this week

Update - we just got the "New Card" status update. MSC service center, entered on a CR visa, I-751 interview waived (this is for a <14y/o child FWIW).

Yeah my window opens on 22 December though I need to research if I actually need 3 years worth of taxes since I only haven't filled yet for the current one (so I only have for 2020 & 2021)

My window for N400 opened up on December 4th. I am almost done with filling the application and will be submitting it soon (probably today). I think we should be good with only 2020 and 2021 taxes. I also included my husband's 2019 taxes because he filed jointly with me even tho I had no income and wasn't living here yet.

By the time we get an interview scheduled we should be able to take 2022 taxes with us to the interview. But I am definitely taking advantage of the 90 days early filing window.

My window opened on December 3rd but ended up submitting on December 10th because they require so much evidence (I filed online).

I had to collect all the co-mingling evidence, my spouse's divorce decree, etc. (since I am naturalizing based off of my 3-year marriage to a USC).

My printer/scanner breaking did not help either. I had to buy a cheap one from Walmart for $50.

The good thing about it though is they sent me the Receipt Notice and Biometrics Reused communication online (just few minutes after I submitted my N400). I now have my case number and says that the process will take approx. 11 months.

I had thought N400 was comparatively a lot simpler/shorter than I-751 in terms of evidence required?

That's what I thought too! But nope... @OldUser is right--it's like I-751 all over again. I have to collect financial statements, old addresses, old school records, old employment, insurance.
