Hi all, we will be filing n400 soon and we have a couple of questions.

1- when putting the employment history, they say to also put the unemployment. Is the period between when I arrived until I got my green card considered unemployment so I need to add it?

2- are we supposed to upload all evidence on the website or just what is required?

3-the test will consist of speaking/writing/reading also a civics test from the 2008 questions. Are we missing any step or any other test?

Thank you for your time

1. Yes, you need to add all dates from the date you moved to the US. If you file under the 3 year rule you can still fill out work/school history and addresses for 5 years or the form will show a warning message.

2. The more evidence you upload the better. If you don't upload it and instead being it to the interview, they may not be able to approve you on the spot as they will need time to go through all the evidence afterwards. Upload everything instead, that way they get a chance to look at everything before the interview.

3. That's it. The whole interview is ateist to see how you respond/communicate/understand basic conversation. You will be asked 10 civics questions, you will also have to write a sentence and read a sentence out loud.

Thank you so much that was very helpful. We have one more question if you don't mind. We have in total 2 years of taxes filing jointly because the first year I was only in the us for 2 month and did not work. Do you think we should wait until we file 2021 taxes or it would be ok if we present the 2 year filing jointly?

You can file online now, and when you have 2021 years tax transcript you can just upload it in your online account. I uploaded new evidence almost every month my case was pending.
