This coming Sunday or Monday I believe you will receive an email. Because they are behind by one or +1

I believe They don't work on weekends and this upcoming Monday is a holiday. So probably I won't see any update till Tuesday.

Do you guys know if they approve cases when the petitioner have a combination of W2 and 1099(unemployment benefits)? Because of the Covid- I temporary was unemployed- but when I filed taxes I was still over the poverty line. Now i am re-employed back with the same employer and sent a letter plus the most current pay stubs. As well, I uploaded a saving account as a proof of assets.

I am freaking put cause I dont know if that is gonna be enough.

Hello all,

i originally submitted all docs to NVC on November 18th and we just received an email from them rejecting two forms :(. One was the I864 and the other was my W2 from 2020. If they would have actually paid attention to the docs, they would have seen that I was unemployed in 2020 due to covid. I just uploaded the W2 from 2020/1099 again with an explanationation. I probably wont be able to upload the affidavit until tomorrow at this point. This really sucks. Is there any chance NVC reviews resubmitted docs earlier than the initial review time?
I know everyone just wants to be with their loved ones at this point. This is really discouraging.

Sorry to hear you got an RFE after all this waiting.

you will get mixed answers as we have seen cases being re-reviewed quickly and most cases are put back to the end of the queue

But in anyway, good luck

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box
01/12/2016: NOA1

I actually spoke to someone at NVC this morning and they said we go back to the beginning but idk if thats just because thats what they have to say or if its true. What a mess.
while i have you here… can you please advise if uploading a letter stating why i dont have a traditional W2/1099 for 2020 would suffice?
thank you for the luck. I hope everything works out for you or already has.

We have seen here in VJ posts from members explaining exactly that (letter stating why they don't have a traditional W2/1099 for 2020) and it worked for them

I think a quick search can guide you to those posts
