November 2021 NVC Submissions

Finally. NVC submission date: 19-Nov-2021

So, our DQ had a twist to it.  A twist caused by the incompetence of NVC reviewers:

On 22-Feb-2022, NVC started reviewing our docs, and for some reason, they only reviewed the Civil Documents and accepted them:

 

I called NVC next day (after a long wait) to check and they told me the case is undergoing Administrative Processing (official answer). The rep also told me to watch my email because it should be reviewed shortly.

On 24-Feb-2022 at 7 am, I called NVC and they give me the same story. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they transferred me pretty quickly. The supervisor told me the same story but added that it might have been a shift end thing and they just didn't get to it. She also said that she will send them an email in case they forgot about our case. I really got pissed when she said "in case they forgot".

The same day, 24-Feb-2022 at 5:39 pm, the case was DQ:

Latest and Last November NVC Timeframe update:

O National Visa Center ( NVC ) atualizou o status do seu pedido de visto de imigrante. Acesse o Centro de Solicitação Eletrônica Consular (CEAC) do Departamento de Estado em https://ceac.state.gov/IV . Você precisará do seu número de caso NVC e número de identificação da fatura para fazer login em sua conta.   

Depois de fazer login no CEAC, por favor, olhe em sua caixa de mensagem ou no gráfico de status na parte inferior da página. Se o NVC tiver comentários sobre qualquer item que você enviou, haverá uma nova mensagem com detalhes. Caso contrário, basta seguir as instruções atualizadas em seu gráfico de status para concluir seu caso. Se alguma coluna disser "Pagar agora", "Documento inválido", "Incompleto" ou "Reaberto", isso significa que você deve efetuar o pagamento de uma taxa, enviar um formulário ou fazer upload de um documento corrigido/ausente.

NVC send me this email this morning but don't updated anything yet I have updated my birth certificate on November 24 and also don't send any email im my box Is something to be concerned?

Hi everyone- question- I uploaded an explanation why I did not file my taxes on January 12th and I am just realizing... that the status says "Uploaded." Does that mean that it was submitted correctly?

I have a rejected Birth Certificate twice first at Aug 27/2021 and rejected again at February 27/2022. I'm almost losing my mind.....

 

Please replace this with an acceptable birth certificate from a correct issuing authority. Please use our Document Finder at https://nvc.state.gov/find for acceptable documents guidelines.

Thank you for this info. I was wondering if I needed to submit a court record with the police certificate. But reading your comments I guess I do. Do everything we send need to be translated into English and do the documents have to be current or up to 2 years old like I’m reading elsewhere?

Most documents in Morocco  are written in Arabic and so it has to be translated into English. You have to submit both documents.  Regarding the document I re-submitted, it was current at that time.

Submit new documents. It does not take much to get documents in Morocco. Also, make sure you get approved translations from approved translators

You have to click Submit on the top right for the "uploaded" to turn into "submitted".

So sorry for your delay. We’ve had the same long experience and it’s so hard. I lose hope sometimes.

Hi, can you share how you reach to NVC? Through the phone they provided? My husband has been trying to reach them for a week but always on hold..
