Sadly i had the same problem and I have to wait another three months

What did they ask for?

Does anyone know if we get an RFE do we have to also upload 2021 tax documents since 3 months later will be after the tax deadline?

From what i know- they shouldn't require the current tax year until the deadline date. So that means they might ask you for Tax 2021 after April 18th.

Hi guys DQ today with a 16th November submission. But I am a little confused. We got the two emails and the one saying all documents accepted. Then on the Ceac page we have the message definitely saying Document Qualified. But all our submitted forms have gone to incomplete. But when I click on them it crashes the whole site and logs me out.

Anyone had a similar situation?

August 28 submission - RFE on November 16

November 16 submission - RFE on February 18

All documents now show as 'accepted', but they are saying there is insufficient evidence of income. I work outside of the US, so therefore all of my income is foreign and doesn't count (despite me making well over the poverty line and having suitable assets to appease the 5X requirement). Joint sponsor is retired but also has considerable assets.

First RFE, NVC only asked for 1099 from joint sponsor - which I promptly uploaded a missing 1099 from bank interest. Now they are requesting proof of my income, proof of joint sponsor's income, and another joint sponsor. Frustrated and demoralized from the entire process... hard to plan your life around a moving target like this. I anticipate the answer already... but... any suggestions other than wait?

Wow, Im sorry, that sucks.. 😕 Im also living abroad and my joint sponsor is retired, so I am not looking forward to hearing from NVC..Is your joint sponsors income close to the minimum requirement? I dont see why they would be asking for so much more evidence. You could always try to expedite, doesnt hurt to ask..

Yea - this whole process is so stressful!

Funny you should mention expediting the case - I requested an expedite back in January and got the reply today as well. Not exactly sure what it means for the case and if it's coincidence or not that I received the reply today. If I submit the forms, I wonder if they will be processed more quickly this time?

"The U.S. Embassy or Consulate is willing to expedite this case when we have received and reviewed all fees, forms, and documents and completed our processing of your case.

If you have not already done so, please pay your fees and submit Form DS-260 at https://ceac.state.gov. Follow instructions from NVC to submit your Affidavit of Support Form (if applicable) and civil documents.

Please note that only the U.S. Embassy or Consulate has the ability to approve or deny expedite requests."

Hi! Can you please keep us posted on what’s happening with your case since your expedite was approved? Also - what was the reason for expedite?

I submitted all documents on Nov. 17. Got email from NVC on Feb. 18, saying I need to use the newest version of I-864 and hand sign the document. (I used electronic signature function of Adobe on the pdf file in the initial submission). I am not sure the proper way to hand sign the document, so I just printed out the filled form, signed it, scanned it again and uploaded it. I do not know if this will put me into the back of the line, very frustrated.

I got DQ'd but also a message indicating that I need a joint sponsor...
"This case does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p."

Do I need to submit the new joint sponsor documents online or just bring the joint sponsor documents to the consulate interview?

Just hoping they aren't holding off scheduling an interview date (after the mentioned I was DQed) until I submit a joint sponsor online

Hi, this is exactly what my message said - along with two other RFEs for verification of income for myself and the other joint sponsor. All my documents are marked as accepted. Does this mean that I am DQed? I thought they would contact me saying I was DQed.
