Please if some one can guide me which will be the best option for my complicated us immigration history . I have been to USA in 90s under 18 years age on tourist visa  and got extended for another 6 months .But did stay 15 days over the visa and then went back to home country .During that year stay was arrested due to being group of shoplifter but no criminal charges were filed as I did not knew what other people did when we entered and came out of the big store . This was done by some one else who happened to be one my friend who was with us while we were shopping . But I was deported back to my country as i did not had any legal guardian and my visa was expired .

Applied for another tourist visa in 2000 and got it approved . When I had this 2nd US visa due to some reasons i had some life threating situations in home country due to religious reasons . When I applied for  applied for Asylum in 2002 i was mislead by one of the attorney to change my surname and date of birth as my real name had fingerprint done and that deportation record . I was conditionally approved for my asylum but was called for 2nd interview . At this interview officers asked me which is the correct name and DOB as they found the match with my old finger prints  my real name and dob . Made mistake again and told them my fake surname and DOB is the correct one and they agreed and approved my asylum case .

But after few years Every thing was back to normal in my home country so decided go back before even my green card was approved . I went back to home country myself and then after few years moved to UK and now I am British citizen . Now if I need to come to USA to visit my friends and family . For sure they wont approve ESTA and will have to apply for visa . I am planing to tell all the truth on my visa application regarding my asylum name change    all the US history . Please if you can guide me the correct way to get my USA tourist visa .

There is no correct or wrong way to apply for it. You apply for it, answer their questions truthfully. You need the master of all luck to get approved this time imho.

Should be an interesting interview, the situation is what it is.

Overstaying and lying to an immigration officer are crimes, though?  So to US immigration agencies, you broke the law.  Multiple times and serious offenses too.

Yes I agree with that but overstay was there as on going case was there and court dates and then plane tickets .  Lying was there with the misguidance and fear in mind they will pull up the other name . I know I have made big mistakes but there was another choice or better guidance . I guess all I can try my luck again with US immigration .

A B2 visa is unlikely to be approved in this case.  Of course you can try, but given your history it will be a challenge to overcome the assumption of immigrant intent.  How strong are your ties to the UK?  The other huge issue is the previous misrepresentation, trying to gain asylum with a fake identity.  A B2 application requires biometrics, so they will check your identity and find in their system that your fingerprints match the records of someone with a different name and date of birth, which likely will give you a lifetime ban from entering the US.  So give it a go, but be realistic and accept that fact that you may never be able to visit the US again.  Good luck, and please return to update this thread so that others can learn from your experience.

Lived and worked here on a tourist visa?  That won't help your case, lol.....
