Hey guys, so I already filled out the form DS-160,

but I have only received my letter where it shows my WAC# back in may 2021!

do you guys think i can schedule the interview even though i haven not receive anything else from NVC!?

Wait so was your petition approved already? Did you receive NOA-2 from USCIS? Your timeline is either not updated to reflect your NOA-2. Or you are way ahead of the process. You complete the DS-160 after you are approved,  NVC provides you a case number and case is sent to embassy. Not the WAC number. If you are a may filer its, at least another 3-4 months for approval.

well I was able to do the ds-160 with my wac #

like I said I have not received the NOA 2

I mean I guess I did it too early>?

so for the interview appointment I have to wait for the NOA 2 with case approval or more proof to be able to approved case right

Without an approved petition, the consulate will not schedule an interview.....

Yes you have to wait for approval from USCIS first. Then the case will go to NVC and then your embassy will request the case. Even if you did the ds-160 and are able to make an appointment (which im not sure if you can do) the embassy does not have your physical file. You will be wasting your time. Wait until you are approved, case  goes to NVC and get your case number.

WAC # is not your embassy case #

embassy case # will start with MEP for Juarez and MEX for Mexico City
