Everything is in other...you will probably not hear anything for another 4- 5 months....next step is approval of your petition and in  worst case scenario, RFEs or NOID

i hope so Thanks

3 months is way too early for an approval. You’ve got up to 6 months more to wait.

well what I'm saying is that NVC has not yet sent me an answer or requesting more stuff!!!

Why would NVC send you anything? You didn’t get past USCIS stage yet.

yes i did

Then fill out your timeline. It still says you’re waiting for approval. NVC doesn’t reach out to you. You have to call them to get your case number. After that you just wait until consulate requests your case from NVC. That’s all the communication between you and NVC

Did you get an NOA-2 yet?  It isn't on you timeline.

Your petition is sitting in a pile that hasn't been reviewed.   USCIS is understaffed since it operates on the fees that we pay and those fees have not been allowed to increase to keep up with the demand and costs.   Once you have passed the processing times for WAC you can open an inquiry to get it moving along.

The NVC has nothing to do with it until USCIS approves the petition at which time you will receive an NOA-2 from USCIS and a letter about a month later from NVC.  Then you have to wait for an appointment it CDJ, which has the same financial issues.

Note that NVC doesn’t send K1s anything until consulate requests the case from NVC. Until then the applicant has to reach out to NVC to receive their case number.

Yup - i guess I had a flash back to the "old days" of quick in/out at NVC for K1.  And with Mexico it is more like a year even though they are now doing K1s in Mexico City too

~ Duplicate thread removed. Do NOT create same/related topics several times as that’s spamming. You have received responses that indicate you have to wait for your NOA2 for another 5-6 months. It is too early to receive your NOA2 ~
