We got a letter from USCIS today stating we filed to early. The morons working at the lockbox level cannot even count correctly

GC holder since 2/15/2019

Window to file N-400 clearly 11/17/2021 Exactly 90 days before the 3 year mark

Package received: 11/22/2021 the package clearly got after the window had opened.

I even got a receipt number that cannot even be used. USCIS online does not accept it also. The letter explains the rejection anyhow.

Sorry to hear that. That's suck. i tried to check again for you as photo attached.

I think they counted on the date you signed on the N-400 form (11/17). It is not the date they receive the package.

Good luck to you!

I don't know how you came about these numbers but mine is GC holder since 07/10/2018

Eligible to file since April. If I wanted to use the 90 days rule.

Filed 11/20/21.

hmm let me see. USCIS said we can file exact 3 months early or 90 days. Not a 2 years 9 months rule...they never say 2 years and 9 months.

As I counted for him, he sent out documents in 11/17/2021..so it is around 91 days or 2 months 30 day (not 3 months). that means if we are not qualified for 1 of any requirements. they can reject our documents.

Anw, I feel bad for him..hope everything will be fine in the end.

as I mentioned, they might take the date in your Form (signed date). Not the date they receive your package.

But who know what's wrong with them. That hurt my feeling when I hear that. Good luck to u!

it's crazy how USCIS biometrics database and online application process is working differently for case to case. Good thing your case is moving forward. good luck for next step.

Yea crazy. But maybe it has to do with location. I live in Vegas and a friend previously had to go in for his biometrics. But I thought, that was because he was not in the system. My biometrics been in the system but who knows how they work. Cross my fingers though. Thanks

approx. changed from 13 to 12 months. But still no notice about reuse of my biometric etc…

We are both on the same boat. I think it has to do with location. But let's keep our fingers crossed for the best.
