All Documents Accepted. When does the Embassy Interview Date Come

Hello,

Since September 21st, 2021, all my documens for my wife’s visa have been marked as Accepted on the portal. Because of this the NVC/Embassy should be in the process of sending my wife’s interview date correct?

I didn’t receive an e-mail or nothing in the portal inbox that they were in the process of getting the interview date together. Is one just suppose to understand that once all documents are accepted the interview date is being set?

Look forward to hearing from you all. Thanks in advance.

After DQ, it can take anywhere from 6 weeks to a year to get the interview notice.

It primarily depends on the country.  Some are quick, some are slow, some have huge backlogs of cases.

Hi Steve,

Thanks a lot for the head up. It should be coming soon then.

Also, after the acceptance of all required documents they since me message to my NVC portal inbox requesting my proof of income. I submitted it to the portal just in case, or are they asking that i bring the proof to the interview.

sounds like you are not DQ yet, you will get an email / message saying you are documentarily qualified. you say all your documents have been marked as accepted but you have a message requesting proof of income, this would be a RFE, and sounds like you will need to wait until the NVC review the new documentation.

Please fill in your timeline and profile, it will help us to help you.

Hi,

I have submitted my proof of income on the NVC portal, but it still hasn’t been approved.

All of my other documents are approved accept this one.

Could someone please help with this. I can never seem to get through to NVC when I call as well.
