Hi everyone.

I received my EAD card, however it is not the combo card, it says this Not valid for reentry to U.S.

I applied for I-485, I-765 & I-131 together. I-485 says my case is being actively reviewed, I-765 I received my card, but I-131 just says that they received my application.

I filed with a K1 visa

Has anyone who applied similarly received their EAD without the combo card? Has anyone received the combo card?

Thanks...

Same here! Received EAD a couple weeks ago but I-131 just shows "received."

Interviewed today and we've taken a step backwards.

  • We had pre-arranged a phone interpreter (with a company that supposedly does this as a business) and neither we nor the company could find the person at the time of the interview.  Tried to continue with an acquaintance and the interviewer stopped the interview after a couple of glitches in the question and answer process flow.
  • The interviewer rejected the translated versions of a couple of documents were submitted with both the I-129f and I-485 - don't understand why this wasn't covered in an RFE instead of waiting until the interview.

We had our interview in Thursday at 9 am. We arrived 15 early. The scanned my husband's letter, and they told us to sit in front of door 1 and wait so they call our number.  We waited for 30 min. Until the officer came out with a couple and told them that they will receiving a second interview he didn't give them opportunity to say anything and told us to please walk in and sorry for making us wait so long. He took my husband's picture and fingerprints. He only asked the yes and no questions. Ask me my hubby's name, ask for ID or driver's license and said you are fine you can go. He just handed out a sheet and told us if we didn't hear back in 120 days to contact the office. Yesterday evening our case updated to approved
