Very happy to hear about your IL.👍

I am guessing Sidd has already completed his medical as they are resending his IL. Am I correct?

I heard from my friend y'day that they increased the validity time of medical for I 485. Will it apply for Consular Processing too?

Nope, can’t schedule your medical till you get interview letter so he hasn’t had medical yet. Also, the medical needs to be done 7 days prior to interview which means he’d have to get in this week, not sure if that’s possible lol. If they’re giving people 2 weeks notice then I’d hope they’d have medical apps available. His PCC also expired since being DQd so he has to get that done as well, not sure if that can be back in time either.
We’re super happy but a little more notice woulda been nice😂

So they clearly say, if your PCC expired and have not done medical , as long as you have done biometric, do attend the interview. They won’t issue visa unless you submit them PCC and medical but at least once you have interview done, when you submit the PCC and medical, they will issue you a visa. So that way you don’t have to wait for another interview appointment.

I’ve seen that said bout medical but I’m seeing it say if your PCC is expired you need to reschedule if don’t have new one in time cuz not allowed in consulate without a valid PCC🤔
We’re looking into seeing bout rescheduling, I really wanna be there with Sidd during his interview but I would have to leave this week to be able to go with him once figure in the 7 days of mandatory quarantine. I can’t go to India for a month or so with no notice, I have a daughter.

I had sent my passport off to get my name changed in it since they canceled all our 10 yr visas, I requested getting it returned when found out how long it was taking to get passport and they are supposed to be mailing it back to me but as of now I don’t have my passport in my possession which means I can’t fly. Since I have our original marriage certificate, Sidd can’t go to interview without me being there….what a mess😂

Oh gosh! That looks like a mess. Is that US passport you are waiting for? Name change on the passport will take forever unfortunately.

Every office in the states is so behind. I was going to change my name legally and our lawyer said it was taking a very long time. I hope you get it back soon.

I have a question because I’m a little bit concerned. So, you get your IL a month before interviewing. My husband will have to fly to Delhi for medical. There are fourteen vaccines required. Originally I was told that he could have gotten them over a period of time and shown the panel physician. But then my attorney said that the panel physician was not accepting that and then you had to pay to get them all again. I don’t care about cost as much as having so many injections at one time. What is everyone’s understanding or experience with this?

Ya, once I heard it was taking 6 months to get passports changed or issued I requested it back without any changes lol.

We got 2.5 weeks between getting the email and the interview date….there’s not even medical appointments available in that timeframe so not sure what they are thinking lol.

I myself have questioned that, from my understanding, lotta the vaccines are combined into one shot, like our MMR vaxxs over here. Think I read somewhere that it’s like 4 shots they get. I’ve also read that lotta people don’t feel the best after getting them which is understandable. My hubby looked into getting his as well and the doctor told him that the US only excepts US brands of vaccines so even if you were fully vaccinated, they would re jab you which seems incredibly risky health wise. Sidd had a TB lung X-ray taken last time he went for a check up just to make sure he didn’t have that, it’s like 6 months of treatment b4 you can enter US if you are found to have TB at medical.

Thank you. He already has a US approved Covid vaccine. This is better than fourteen injections. But I’m prepared as a homeopathic practitioner to help with this. We also have Tibetan doctor in India that hopefully can help him with any side affects. It’s a bit much.

We just got our IV date…..they gave us 2 weeks notice…..I can’t get over there in 2 weeks….Sidd can’t even get in for medical in 2 weeks lol.
Not to be a complainer but 2 weeks IV notice doesn’t work for most people lol.

Feb 4th is our date

Thank you very much for update.
