NVC wasn't closed on Diwali. People should be receiving ILs on Friday or Monday.

They usually send ot IL’s on last Friday on the month. So hopefully this friday or following Monday.

Hoping they started Jan 2022

My file is still at nvc.  I heard that it should go to consulate for visa schedule.
I thought since my DQ is in Jan 2022 it should be at consulate now. But they have not sent my file to consulate yet.

I saw some F2A category with DQ upto Dec 27 on Telegram group. Still hoping they issue som CR1/IR1 ‘s this month. Hopeful thinking ….. this is seriously becoming a test of patience.

Why would they skip Jan to Mar. Frustrating !!!

Hello,

I received my interview appointment for December 8th. Finally!

Visa: F2B

Priority Date: 21 Sept 2015

DQ: 14 Oct 2020

I have a question: Is it ok to travel to another country before travelling to the US if the visa is approved after the interview?

I am currently working in the UAE and I would have to serve my notice period before leaving the country. I want to know if I can work that after I come back from the interview, or if I should complete everything now and go for the interview.

Any help is appreciated! Thank you!!
