How are people getting interviews that have had their DQs in April? I'm a US Citizen and my wife's DQ was early March (CR1 Visa) and we haven't heard anything yet....

You and I both are in the same boat! What was frustrating for us was that we saw a few that have the same PD and DQ as my wife's application and they got interviews and we didnt. Not sure how they went about this entire "selection" process. Plus skipping Jan and Feb applicants? None of it makes sense. If they are targeting only CR1s then why skip two entire months?

We still have not received an interview letter. Priority date May 30, 2021 and documentarily qualified on March 31, 2022. CR1 US citizen. I'm glad people are getting interviews but I do not understand how they jumped directly to April 2022 DQ applicants without addressing those who were documentarily qualified before April.

No, I have not received any news. CEAC website states case is still with NVC. Emailed the consulate and they gave a generic response asking if the NVC has sent us an appointment letter. Senator reached out to NVC and they gave her same DQ date bs response, “We schedule interviews each month based on the capacity provided to us by the U.S. Consulate General. The NVC fills these appointments by the order in which cases have become documentarily complete.” Filling appointments based on dq my a$$. What a joke.

Hi, I need help on my case got stuck at NVC.  It's a family based F3 category (country: India : mumbai consulate). all documents were qualified(DQ Date) on March 2020 but we haven't got any interview letter yet. It seems like people with DQ date July 2020 started getting their interview letter but somehow I haven't received any IL letter yet. looking at the status on CEAC website, it says case is still at "NVC".

Is it better to contact Mumbai consulate or NVC in this case?

I sent an inquiry email to NVC about the case in 2nd week of August but haven't got any response yet and won't get any response based on current public inquiry form response time. Is there any way to find out the status about the case and expedite it?

Category: F3

Country : India

PD: September 2007

DQ Date: March 2020
