Ditto. I’m happy to get a couple support letters as well. I will speak to my local representative who has been in touch with the state department on my behalf. She may be able to suggest a path to the state department for all of us in what ever state we are.

That will be great help Robin. Please keep us updated. We need to short this thing out. It is not acceptable being US citizen to wait for the spouse that long.

Agreed, this is ridiculous. I will email my immigration rep tis weekend and will likely hear back next week, She's really helpful and supportive.

It doesn’t let me join. It says group is full.

Try again I just clicked the link and it took me to the group. I couldn't see any messages yet but there was a request to not post any false information and to mute the messages because apparently notifications are louder than normal. And I see a new message from someone now. Try again.

So yesterday, one of my family member became US citizen and we went for interview at USCIS office. Even though we had to go to the USCIS office for the interview, they took the interview via video conferencing on tablet. The officer was virtual and was speaking to my family member via video call and took the interview that way.

Why can't similar thing be done at Mumbai consulate? This sounds insane and people are getting out of patience.
