That mean there are no  more interviews available to schedule for the month of July.

I believe as if April 2022, people the DQ'ED December 2021 were getting ( IL) interview letters scheduled for June 2022.

Keep in mind there were many that were skipped that are still waiting for IL. The months were between Dec 2020- July 2020.

As of Monday some of those skipped people received IL and are scheduled for interview in July 2022.  Those people who just received IL, DQ'ED Dec 2020- May 8th 2021.

My DQ date was May 29 2021 and I'm still waiting as I was also skipped. I'm hoping I'll hear something soon as it appears they are currently working on those that were skipped.

Our K1 visa approved today at US Consulate Mumbai.  The Consulate Officer was
very professional and nice and helpful.
only 5 minutes and 3 questions:

1.  How did you meet?

2.  Is the Petitioner married or been married?

3.  What are your wedding plans?

Once we got our NOC2 we never heard anything from any agency.  No Interview Letter or packet was ever sent.
Nothing.  So we scheduled our own biometrics and interview and was approved.

see our timeline for dates.

I read in the previous threads that people getting DQ'ed in Dec'21 were getting interview dates for April and May'22. This should mean that as they move ahead in line, someone who gets DQ'ed in Jan'22 or Feb'22 should be getting their interview dates for June and July'22. I do-not understand what is this 'skipped candidates' you are talking about? Why were these candidates skipped? And how will this affect the wait times for the ones who got qualified post Dec'21?

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

My CR1 case is DQ on Jan 7, 2022. No interview yet and desperately waiting. My understanding is in April they scheduled interviews for people DQ from Oct to Dec 12, 2021. And then all of a sudden it stopped and there has been no word since.

As mentioned above some folks were skipped from 2020/2021 and they did get interviews last week. But July is filling up fast for interviews so my hope is August interview which is 8 months after DQ. So whoever says the backlog is cleared it is not true. Pre pandemic the wait used to be 3-4 months post DQ for interview at Mumbai.

That's discouraging to hear. We were DQ'd (IR1) Jan 19, 2022. It seems like they got to the end of 2021 and have switched to something else. Come on guys just start scheduling 2022 already! It's been over 3 years now, jeez.

Why do you think July or even June for that matter is filled up?  Not saying you're wrong.  Just wondering.

Yeah. Wondering the same. Is there a way for us to know which months have filled up their slots? If yes, would appreciate if someone could direct me to the source.

According to the latest NVC backlog report, only the May 2022 numbers have been reported, nothing for June 2022 interviews yet...

This is NVC backlog. Not Mumbai Consulate's. I don't think this data is meant only for Indian immigrants. This seems to be a pan global estimate.

Yes, you are correct. This report shows the total interviews scheduled across all US consulates world-wide for May 2022.

I don't know if these is something specific available for Mumbai Consulate, if someone has the link please provide....

My parents got DQ on Jan 4, 2022 in IR5 category, still waiting for interview letter for Mumbai

Here's the link for each month for every country: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-statistics/immigrant-visa-statistics/monthly-immigrant-visa-issuances.html. Once you click the Month/Year you want to view, a new window will open. You then have to scroll down and find Mumbai, and there is an exact breakdown of visa type+visas issued per type. This is for April 2022, Mumbai: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Immigrant-Statistics/MonthlyIVIssuances/APRIL 2022 - IV Issuances by Post and Visa Class.pdf
