It’s not March yet, I am confused

At current rate let's say they are taking one and half weeks to clear a month of applications. Let's say interview dates until March 25,2022 will be enough to clear all of June DQ'ed applications.

My guess ...
Interview Dates
March 28 - April 6 (July DQ complete)
April 7 - April 15 (August DQ complete)

As yours is August your interview date might fall around April 10 - 15. I am being very optimistic here.

I agree with you as well, with just 15 days notice they can reduce the backlog to bring it to near normal, i hope most of the people DQed in year 2021 will get their IL's soon, Good luck to everyone.

Guys, Can someone please let me know if there's any way to find out current DQ date for F3 visa interview at Mumbai consulate? Case is still showing at NVC center and my DQ date is March-2020.

You have filed your application at NVC as your priority date might have been on or before 22 AUG 09. I do not know your priority date but looking at the screenshot below it tells me that your priority date has to be on or before 22 NOV 08 for consulate to take action on your case.

Sorry, you are already DQ'ed so your priority date must have been before 22 NOV 08. We here in this group are specifically focusing on the spouse visa for citizens/green card holders.

I would be so happy if we get letter in April. We’re DQ’d Aug.6,2021 it could really save me to extend my leave at work and not have to travel back to India. I could just stay and do it all with my husband. Fingers crossed and yes, good luck to everyone 🌷

Still waiting for an IL. Anyone got any updates for feb dq dates?

Cr1

Mumbai Embassy

DQ feb-22-2021

Have you contacted your Congress Representative? I don't know how much it helps but I ask my Congress Representative staff person to please inquire as to the status of our case. They seem to get more complete answers than we do as Petitioners. Remember to be persistent, I know that it gets tiring all the legwork we do, but we need to be advocates for ourselves, the delays have not helped us.  Good Luck.

Congratulations 🎉. That’s such good news! Hoping we’re coming up next for August DQ. I’m so afraid to hope but this is really helpful news.

Hello,

I contacted NVC again yesterday and spoke to the agent and I told the agent that, why is my case not being picked up and others are. The embassy is currently scheduling for May-2021 and he asked where are you getting this information. I said, I know few people who were momentarily completed after my and they already go their interview letters and the agent said, not unless they were expedited. Currently Mumbai is operating very slowly at limited capacity. I was like doesn't the embassy go by DQ date? and he was like we only schedule interviews on the bases of what embassy request us. So long story short, I asked for the supervisor and he said there is no one available at this time so he said we can schedule a call back, so I am expecting call from them on march 2nd.

I also reached out to my local congressman's office and gave them my info and told them about my experience with NVC. They said, they will request an inquiry and get back to me.

I am not sure, how much it helps but my question is, what am I supposed to do now? Do you think if I hire an attorney and they would help investigate?

Hi!

An attorney won't be able to help you in in this case. I saw few people (on the facebook group that I follow) were skipped this time too by NVC. But, just be patient for a little while (i know that can be frustrating) but many people from dec/Jan who were skipped earlier have started to receive their letters. Nobody knows the reason behind them skipping. Not all the cases who got letters are expedited. I am not sure about the congressman's office, that might be helpful but nothing else will help.
