Also, PCC is only valid for 1 year for spousal immigration. Only diversity visa class gets 2 yrs from theirs.

Thank you so very much for sharing. I sincerely pray that the certificate reaches mumbai on time and the interview is a success.

14 shots is a pain. I do not know what my wife do about this. :)

Worst case scenario, my advice would be to not miss the interview. Explain the situation to the officer, be honest, show them the copies you have during the interview and can submit a new PCC or other original certificates later. Am not a lawyer but that is what I would ask my wife to do in a similar situation. :)

All the best!

My lawyer has said the same about if we ever were caught out without original docs. I’m really concerned about fourteen vaccines at once. We talked about getting some from his doctor in our village over a time. But my lawyer said that clients have had their vaccine records refused by the panel physician and they had to get them all over again. Congratulations on getting interview though May we all get ours soon.

The receptionist at Clinic told Sidd that the reason the shots are so expensive is cuz they gotta be US vaxxs and imported from US…..What’s funny is that majority of our vaxxs here in the US come from India so they woulda exported the vaxxs just to import them 😂.

💯

They always seem to ‘forget’ that some of us couples are just regular folks and that not all of us  come from wealthy families lol. Thank goodness the dollar goes farther in India than it does here😂

Below is a compiled list from a very small group in this thread. Sorted by DQ Date.  Couple of folks (one in Nov and one in Dec)  received their interview letters. 🙂

Our priority date is 1/21/2020 if wanna add that to chart. I know I saw on here an interview on the 8th also. Thanks for making this! I can’t believe our name has an interview date attached to it, it’s been such a long journey to get to this point.

All this says is that it's a shitty system. No clear information is provided anywhere and they don't change their so called age old rules to clear the backlog. Hospitals aren't aligned with the embassy 🙄.

And the PCC situation, if you check under nvc's family visa 12 step instructions, it says it's valid for 2 years but who know 🤷🏻‍♀️

The 2 week notice time would have been sufficient and apt if their instructions were clear and aligned with their other departments.

This is why it’s a good idea to contact your rep in Congress if they’re a Democrat , otherwise they don’t care about immigration issues, and tell them all of this. And any good media outlet should be contacted as well. No one has any idea the cruelty of this system. Or how there is no cultural understanding so that we are trying for years to get documents that may be impossible to obtain. It’s a rigid and yes, confusing system. The stress incurred for us is monumental. And this backlog is created and not dealt with properly, because they don’t have to. I feel your frustration and pray that we get our loved ones home with us. Even my lawyer says this is a terrible system.

I agree. Let's hope for the best, it's really painful to have the family apart.

Good to know that people are getting ILs. How come IR applicants getting sooner ILs than non-IR applicants? Is it like DQ queue is different for different categories?

this is because the shitty visa prioritization rule has been cancelled.

All visa cases get the same priority by DQ date. No red carpet treatment anymore.
