To all good people here.

If you had a nice CFO experience (unmarried Filipina partner, short interview, just asked for passports and visa) please share.

I'm on a lookout for a "friendly and efficient" counselor (name / email).

Thank you so much.

You get who you get. If you try to re-register with a different email they will just refer you back to the orginal counselor.  Do you have circumstances that a counsler will give you troubles? Those are better questions than worrying about who you get.

Counselor phone numbers and emails change as well.  I know the counselor we had at the beginning, had a completely different number two months later and the first number no longer worked.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."

We googled my wife's counselor and turned out she a supervisor with at least a decade history with CFO and she has a ton of public media shots of her doing presentations on human trafficking at a number of venues including the Philippine Consulate in Honolulu which must have been a pretty good gig.  She looked really mean in her pictures but my wife said she was pretty friendly.  She was direct and to the point.  My wife said the call lasted 9 minutes.

Yes we do.

Don't want to take any chances and not reunite by Christmas after 20 insane months of corona-LDR.

Re-registration no longer works or maybe works, but after 1 month cool-off period.

Offline registration works (direct message to counselor

Messaged 4 users here and about 15 on fb.

All had positive CFO experience within tha last 1-3 months. I don't expect people to dig their email 1-2 yrs back.

Sadly 4 users here are probably enjoying their lives and do not log in to respond.

So please let me know her name.

I have approached some senior officers/counselors via Linkedin, but so far no response.

I guess they are not allowed to talk to foreigners.

P.S.

Wife CFO experience is usually better than partner (especially with age gap)

Careful with messaging all those CFO counselors. There's a high likelihood that they may also be discussing privately amongst themselves. Push too hard and you may end up drawing unwanted attention to your fiancee.

This was exactly what I was thinking as well especially knowing the intricacies on what is common within a Philippine organization.

The poster also mentioned that he was in the process of applying for a UK Partner visa and in the past, the CFO counselors were always broken down by country.  Pre-Covid there was no overlap, although now with reduced CFOs being given, Im not sure what the current situation is.

As @Commish10 said, you are better off preparing with your fiancee, so that she can answer confidently. I think it was @RO_AH who even made a spreadsheet with a timeline of his relationship with his wife, so that she could give the CFO counselor exact dates when asked.

I know, I am cautious.

BTW, 107 of CFO employees are on LinkedIN. Anybody can message them. Email structure - name initial+lastname@cfo.gov.ph

I agree. Knowing how PH organizations work, they probably have a work group chat where they talk about problematic cases. It will only take one CFO counselor in the group chat to say "I received a message from Mr. X about Ms. Y..." and for others to chime in, "Us too" and for a supervisor to look into who is this Mr. X who keeps messaging all their employees... might be the kind of visibility that invites even more questions.
