Thanks! Hope so too.

It has never been our plan to file for naturalization.

Sometimes I think they delay things just to force people into doing that?

I envy people who can say this (I assume your passports give you more or less similar access if you have to travel  and not deal with visas for most part). If I could, I would want dual citizenship but oh well....

Funny. I never thought people had travel in mind when applying for citizenship.

I assumed it was mostly to petition relatives.

I am little too old to sponsor anyone from family and see them migrate to US. The wait times are ridiculous and being US citizen will never help anyone. So my goal is to be able to live here and be able to visit any place including home any time without a hassle.

Your country of origin does not allow dual citizenship?

OMG, I'm so sorry! It doesn't make sense...maybe at this point try to apply for naturalization

Yeah, I did back in February. My case was transferred to NBC shortly after and now it's just sitting there at "Fingerprints were taken". At first, I thought that after that transfer i-751s have zero chances to be looked at but I saw a few people on Lawfully who got their approvals already at NBC and before N-400 interview was scheduled at a local office. We'll see if I'm lucky :)
