I am sending in our IRS Tax Transcripts that we downloaded off of the IRS website. I've heard that these are the preferred method because they are directly from the IRS, and they tend to be less pages.

the IRS receipts doesn't show our full names. not sure if this will be an issue, our names are kinda cut shorted.

Mine were the same way. It shouldn't be a problem! I have used the transcripts like that for my K1 and AOS process too ☺️

Our I-751 packet was received on Monday 11/8 at the lockbox in Arizona... and we just received our first text notification with our case number today starting with YSC. Seems like our packet is going to be processed at the Potomac Service Center.

Was really hoping for Texas which seems like it's the fastest service center. Does anybody have any experience with the Potomac Service center?

I am impressed though that we received our first notification and the case number so quick.

Dropped off package at UPS yesterday Nov 6th.  Set to be delivered by Friday the 12th.  I was eligible to apply in the 2nd half of October.

Yep, good idea to cancel that.  They would have just returned the package and you would have lost a month or more

So update is even after asking to Cancel this delivery. FexEx people still delivered it to USCIS. I called muliple times to cancel the delivery and they told me they are going to cancel but still i got text message that it got delivered.

I am feeling so bad that just one mistake on money order my package is going to get rejected and who knows how long we will have to wait to get it back and apply again.

Please pray for us you guys 😥😥😥😥😥

Really sorry to hear that. I have heard enough FedEx horror stories from my friends and family to avoid them.

Not sure what VJ folks would recommend in this case, but my recommendation would be to send another package and expect the previous one to be returned.

Thank you for the response. So we should send another packet without waiting for previous one to return or shall we wait for it to return back to us and then send another one

I think personally I would wait to see what happens and / or wait until it's returned.. maybe they're able to cash it regardless.. And even if not, if your 90 day window just opened, worst that happens is you lose a couple of weeks. I don't know how it works exactly but I wouldn't want to risk things getting confused if they receive two packages? not sure though..

Also, in the picture you posted it seems like the check was for $500 but I thought the application and biometric fee were $680 total? Do I have that wrong?

Yes we are deciding to wait now. Read a few post here and saw that sometimes they do cash it regardless. And yeah the max amount we can do for a money order is $500 so we did two money orders total of $765 (595 + 85 (biometric for me) + 85 (biometric for k1dependent child )

Hey guys, just to update you: I submitted my ROC application package on 11/1 and received an SMS that it was received by them 3/11 (used FedEx, $61). It also shows on Case Tracker, which also says that they have already mailed receipt notice (I-797) by mail. Pretty impressive and fast so far; we are hoping they deduct the fee from the cheque soon.

Good luck to all of us.

Update: they cashed the cheque on 11/8. (Application received by USCIS on 11/3; I received SMS confirmation and a status update on USCS tracker two days later.)

So far so great! The AOS had taken me around four and a half months; hoping the ROC is also quick.

If that's what's generally suggested on VJ then yeah go with that.  Not sure if you can find out if the money order was cashed, but if it doesn't get cashed within 4 weeks then you know they were unable to cash it.

Hi everyone. I’ll  send my documents next week and I’m a little bit confused about if I can work when my green card expires. I will start my new job next week . Am I getting it right that I can continue to work after I get NOA1?

If you send your documents within the 90 day window then your status is technically extended for another 2 years even before you receive a notice.
