Another solution is for another (trustworthy) person take the green card back to Cuba and give it to him in the country.

Or mail it in?

Checking on my fellow Nov. 2021 filers. I thought I wouldn't really mind the wait for ROC but it's kind of maddening to not know if you'll be one of the lucky ones that get approved in less than a year or one of the unlucky ones that wait much longer.

Hope everyone is doing okay and hanging in there!

SRC filer here. Our processing time jumped from 6-9 months to 10,5 months and I heard nothing since January 19 when they waived the fingerprints. I'm busy with work and I'm not going to be surprised if the 10 year green card won't come before I can apply to the Naturalization in October but deep down there I kinda hoped that I'll be able to hold it at least once in my hand before I become a citizen.

Question...

Typically after you file N-400 (and you still haven't heard back from I-751, after completing fingerprints), how long after you file N-400 they set up a combo interview?

N-400 processing times (for PHX) shows 13 months, but that's for N-400 ONLY. Is there a different processing time for combo interviews?

Thanks!

Did anyone receive a letter of Biometric approval/waiver (from prior collection) but NOT have their online status updated? We received paper notification Nov 29 2021 for waiver/prior-approval, but online status still doesn't say anything about that.

Thanks!

September 2021 forum just posted here:

And October 2021 forum here:

I see quite a few approvals from September, but none in October yet.  We are likely at least a couple months out, if not more, from seeing any approvals.

I don't think we're going to hear anything before August. I personally think we'll start seeing some movement around September. Hopefully :) A lot of people take PTO in summers which can additionally influence our timeline.

Same here... I received my biometric waiver letter in the mail but my online status did not change either. I think this is fairly common for the online status to not always update.

Hi fellow November 2021 filers!

Any approvals here? There have been only cricket sounds from SRC since this January when they sent the biometrics letter. We’re planning to file the N400 at the end of October but I read on the March thread that someone got the N400 interview but it was not a combo interview so the officer couldn’t approve the naturalization which is so weird. It seems they got the oath ceremony appointment but still no words about the ROC so it’s a bit confusing. This past year didn’t bother me too much because I knew that the ROC won’t be approved before naturalization but the sooner we get close to the filing date for the N400 I’m getting more anxious.

Hi Gigi, I gave up on hearing anything in July. I'll put the radar back up in August. Have you checked the September/October 2021 forums recently? That would be the tell-tale.
